Yesterday morning, Krousar Yoeung’s team visited the pre-school of Chheu Kleum to discuss with the School Supporting Committee about the daily activities of the school. This pre-school is indeed a model school, and it got an award for best school environment last year.

Chheu Kleum is one of the target schools of the Happy Cambodian Children Program which is supported by the Kinchan Foundation and implemented by Krousar Yoeung Association for the pre-school component. Since 2018, in Chheu Kleum, around 400 children aged 3 to 5 have gained access to pre-school education thanks to this program.

The implementation of this pre-school is a success for Krousar Yoeung and all local stakeholders we are involved in the school. We are really proud to be supporting this pre-school and of the commitment of the teachers and school supporting committee who have worked really hard to improve the quality of education and the school’s environment for the children to study in the best conditions possible. And we are also thankful for the continuous support of the Kinchan Foundation for the HCC Program.
